C1940s inspired Longline corset girdle constructed from rosebud coutil with mesh side panels and busk or zip fastening front fastening.
Designed with a gentle to moderate reduction depending on preference this garment is perfect for those looking for vintage inspired shapewear.
STYLE OPTIONS
1.FULLY BONED (SINGLE BONE)~ Corset is boned the full length of the garment. There will be some restriction with wear. Eg - will have to perch on a high chair to sit. Single bone in each bone channel
2. FULLY BONED (DOUBLE)~ Corset is boned the full length of the garment. There will be some restriction with wear. Eg - will have to perch on a high chair to sit. 2 bones in each bone channel.
3. 1/2 BONED (SINGLE)~ Fastening and spiral steel bones will finish at the hip point allowing the wearer more freedom of movement. (Flat boning on either side of the eyelets will be the full length of garment). This option may be more suitable for those looking for foundation wear to wear with 1940s fashions and is more alike to the construction of original garments of the day.
4. 1/2 BONED (DOUBLE) Fastening and spiral steel bones will finish at the hip point. 2 bones in each bone channel
DETAILS
▪The corset is constructed with 12 panels (6 per side) finishing low over the hip and bottom.
▪Features a busk/zip closure at the front and 18 sets of eyelets for lacing at the back.
▪ Satin or cotton bias binding on the upper and lower edges. (colour determined by availability and coutil chosen)
▪︎Boned modesty panel behind busk with wide 2cm underbusk
▪︎Comes with a removable boned modesty panel for the back behind lacing
▪︎Features internal boning channels from twill tape

SIZING
This underbust corset is designed to leave a 1-2" lacing gap at the centre back and give a 2-3" reduction to your waist. For the more experienced lacer please feel free to send me a message to discuss your needs.
