Longline corset girdle constructed from a single layer of sand coutil with busk front fastening.
NOTES ~ This sample was made as a mockup (toile) to test a pattern inspired from a 1940s corset girdle. There is no waist tape to inside, faint chalk marks waist line on inside.
There is a very slight mark/ scuff to back panel - not hugely noticeable. I haven't attemped to remove it but could possibly be cleaned off.
I HAVE CHANGED THE LACES TO NEW BEIGE FLAT LACING SINCE TAKING THE PHOTOS TO MATCH COUTIL BETTER.
Sample size corset measures 22" corset waist - offers a gentle reduction. Ideally suited for someone with a natural waist of around 26-27"
As this corset is boned fully over the hip there may be some restriction with wear. Eg - will have to perch on a high chair to sit.
