Longline corset girdle constructed from a single layer of black soft coutil with busk front fastening.
NOTES ~ This sample was made as a 2nd mockup (toile) to test a pattern inspired from a 1940s corset girdle. There is no waist tape to inside.
Sample size corset measures 22" corset waist - offers a gentle reduction. Ideally suited for someone with a natural waist of around 25-27"
As this corset is boned fully over the hip there may be some restriction with wear. Eg - will have to perch on a high chair to sit.
DETAILS
▪The corset is constructed with 12 panels (6 per side) finishing low over the hip and bottom.
▪Features a silver busk closure at the front and 18 sets of eyelets for lacing at the back.
▪ cotton bias binding on the upper and lower edges..
▪︎Boned modesty panel behind busk with wide 2cm underbusk
▪︎Will come with a removable boned modesty panel for the back behind lacing (since added to after photos taken)
▪︎Features external boning channels with double row of spiral boning
